Location

The B&B is located in West Kelowna in Smith Creek area with an ever-expanding network of all mountain trails your place for mountain biking and hikes.

It’s an escape from city life to a simple, rural, outdoors lifestyle that appeals to those who enjoy outdoor sports, nature and tranquility. Surrounded by wineries, vineyards, cherry, apple, peach and berry farm’s.

Hosts

Michelle and Alfonso Machleidt truly love their way of delivering hospitality service. They are passionate hosts with a bunch of international experience of working in hotels and resorts.

Salt Water Swimming Pool

Located at ground floor next to the driveway. Pool is heated and has great views overlooking the horse fields and mountains. Sun loungers, floaties and some toys for our little guests. Open daily from 7am - 11pm during summer time (May-September)

Hot Tub

Located at the ground floor next to the swimming pool. 7 seater all year round hot tub. Open 7am -11pm 

Dining

Sit down tables and lounges located at first floor. Main patio with large dining table, fantastic view to pool, horse fields, lake and mountains. Stove Lounge with comfortable relaxing sitting arrangements, reading, socializing, fire place and sit-down table for dining at the window overlooking pool, horse fields and mountains.

Outdoor

• Herb, vegetable and fruit garden
• immediate hiking access to amazing trails, wineries and mountains

• Romantic Escape $ 275 plus tax:
• One night stay for two until March 31.2024 including welcome drink, fruits and chocolates, sparkling breakfast, 45 min full body massage

Reservation / Cancellation Policies

Bookings

• No refunds for arrivals later than the original check-in date or no-shows. 
• A deposit of 50% is required for multiple room bookings or long-term stays of 5 nights or more. 
• The maximum stay is 30 days as per city licensing requirements. 
• By giving us your credit card information to hold and guarantee your reservation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by our policies and regulations including our cancellation policy.

Payment Methods

• We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express
• Interac e-Transfer is available by contacting us directly by phone. 

Rates

• If there is any conflict in regards to the rate of stay.  
• The invoice provided on the booking system, that the guest booked with, will stand as the final rate.  
• All room rates are based on double occupancy. 

Rooms

• total of 4 rooms
• Following rooms located on the top floor, no lift, 1 exterior staircase 15 steps, 1 interior staircase 13 steps : Okanagan Suite (king bed, possible to add 1 extra bed for 1 person $25) , Rose Valley ( king bed), Smith Creek (queen bed) 
• Shannon Lake ( king bed, private exterior door 4 steps, possible to add 1 extra bed for 1 person $25) accessible via exterior staircase or or around the house ( limited stairs) 

 

Parking

• We do not charge extra for parking or equipment storage.
• Parking at owners risk
• All guests receive upon checkin room keys along with a drivewaygate remote control. 
• Instructions on how to use the remote control will be done during the checkin procedure.

Taxes

• We are required to collect 5% GST and 8% PST taxes.  
• We are not required to collect the Tourist Tax (MRDT) as we are located in the City of West Kelowna.  

Check-in

• If arriving later than anticipated then please let us know at your earliest convenience. 
• The guest must present a valid credit card and government-issued photo ID upon check and be of legal age. 

Check-Out

• Check-out no later than 11am unless arranged ahead of time and according to availability. 
• The room keys along with the drivewaygate remote control lost or not returned will result in a $30.00 charge. 

Children

• From 8 years onward
• Extra bed can be provided at a charge of $25

Cancellation Policies

• Free cancellation when you cancel more than 5 days before your arrival date.  
  For cancellations, 5 days or less from your arrival, you will be charged 50% of the room for each night cancelled and only if we are unable to re-book the room.   
   

General Policies

Breakfast

• Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. There will be a menu in your room to choose from.
• Special dietary requirements are accommodated when arranged ahead of time. 

Quiet Time

• Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please respect other guests and the neighborhood. 

Smoking

• For the comfort and health of our guests, smoking/vaping at designated areas only. You are allowed to smoke on your patio/balcony only with the door and windows closed.
• $500 cleaning fee applies in case of neglection.
• There is no smoking/vaping allowed inside the house.  
• No marijuana or other drugs allowed on the premises.

Clothes Washer & Dryer

• The washer and dryer are available against extra fee.

Abuse

• We will not tolerate any form of physical or verbal abuse towards guests or staff.  You will be asked to leave the property immediately forfeiting any refund. 

Pets

• No pets allowed except service dogs.
